Desires are the goals that keep us going. Many focus on the things of this world, but as Christians, our desires are for Heavenly treasures. Our first desire is to be with Jesus for eternity; the second is to get our unsaved friends and loved ones saved so they, too, can be with Jesus. When we delight ourselves in the Lord, we know He hears and answers our prayers and grants us the desires of our hearts. So despite the negative we may see, we’ll keep praying and praising the Lord because He is faithful and His Word is true!
