Loving our families is easy. Loving those who cause us problems, who mock us, or go out of their way to hurt us is a different story. But as Christians, Jesus told us to love those who come against us because true love goes beyond our emotions. Jesus loved us and died a barbaric death on the cross to save us from hell before we were even born—He loved us when we were still living in sin. He waits daily for those who curse Him to come and receive His salvation for life. Just as Jesus loves us, we should show His love to those who don’t know Him, because if they knew Him, they would be free from the devil’s clutches and know His love, just as we know it.
