Christian means “follower of Christ.” When we realize that we’re a sinner doomed for hell, and accept Jesus as God’s Son who came to earth to die for our sins and give us eternal life, we become a Christian. We are a new person in Jesus, and have a relationship with Him. He becomes our Savior, Lord, Counselor, Provider, Healer, and Friend. When we study the Bible to know Him and do His will, we’re filled with joy and peace because our hope is in Him!
