What is love? Love is a characteristic that suffers long and is kind; does not envy or parade itself, and is not puffed up. It does not behave rudely or seek its own, and is not provoked. It thinks no evil and does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things and endures all things (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). This is the love that Jesus has for us, and that took Him to the cross to save us from Satan’s clutches. When we know Jesus and are filled with His Spirit, we overlook the faults of others to see them through His eyes, the eyes of love!
