The devil is lord over this world because he bought us when he got Adam to sin against God. But Jesus bought us back when He died on the cross; He took the punishment for our sins, and rose from the grave to give us eternal life with Him. When we accept His salvation and commit to Him, Jesus becomes our Lord, on this earth and forever. He hears and answers our prayers, supplies all of our needs, and showers us with blessings. Nothing is too great for Him, no mountain too high, no valley too low, no need too great! Jesus defeated our enemy at the cross, and He is God, our Lord!
