God wants to bless us with the desires of our hearts, which is very different from the lusts of the flesh. When we accept Jesus as Savior and receive His Spirit, we study the Bible and spend time in prayer and worship to develop a relationship with Him. Our hearts’ desires change from worldly to Godly; we want to follow Jesus, preach the gospel to the lost, help the needy, feed the poor, and pray fervently for our unsaved loved ones. We delight ourselves in the Lord and know He hears us and will give us the desires of our hearts.
