The darkness of this evil world is thick. When Satan invaded our world, God withdrew His Spirit—His Light, leaving us to live in an evil world that would destroy us. But God loves us and sent Jesus to defeat sin and death on the cross and redeem us. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we still live in this dark world, but we belong to Him, and His Light shines in us! The Old Testament prophesied His birth; the New Testament fulfilled the promise! We celebrate Christmas because Jesus IS the Light, and soon, He will call Home all whose hearts flicker with His Light—and we’ll live Him forever!
