Apostle Paul showed his faith in God by his works (James 2:18). This is the benchmark for all believers. We can say we believe in God, but if we never use our faith to trust Him in situations, we will never know if we actually have faith in God or only think we do. We must study the Bible to know God so we can put our faith in Him, and as we grow, God sends situations across our paths to test our faith. The works from our faith strengthen our trust in the Lord and build our testimony so others can see God in us. Everything we say and do in faith is a testimony of who we are in Christ!

I agree that soon the Lord will call us Home to be with Him forever. But while we’re still on this earth, God expects us to know Him so that by faith, we can share the gospel, help the needy, feed the poor, and pray for the sick and the lost. We do this by faith, knowing what God has called us to do.
