Love is not a physical attraction. It cannot be bought and does not end. True love is a heartfelt devotion willing to die for the one it desires. This is the love that God has for us. He created us in love, and when sin corrupted us, He came to earth as a man and died on the cross for our sins so we could be forgiven and redeemed (John 3:16). When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we’re filled with God’s unconditional love forever, and our Heavenly Father watches over us. We’re not perfect yet, but when God’s love abides in us, we’re blessed and at peace, and that’s all we need.
