Christianity is not a showy status for others to notice; it’s a change of heart from accepting Jesus as Savior. It’s not following rules and traditions; it’s having Christ’s nature live in us. It’s not a task to deny ourselves and obey God; it’s our joy to do His will. We don’t focus on any sacrifice we might endure; we rejoice in the sacrifice Jesus endured to save us. We don’t raise ourselves up to be admired; we humble ourselves so we can serve. It’s not a chore to read our Bibles; it’s our desire to know God and embed His Word in our hearts. We love the Lord, and we delight in doing His will!
