The Oxford Dictionary defines pure as not being adulterated or mixed with any other substance, free of contamination. God is the ONLY pure one because He’s Holy, yet the Bible says we’re blessed if WE have a pure heart. When we receive Jesus as our Savior, our heart is purified; all sin is removed, and we’re filled with God’s Spirit. But we’re not perfect because we live in a corrupt world and sometimes fall into temptations. So, we study the Bible to know God and distance ourselves from the world, and the more we learn, the cleaner our hearts become, and the more of God we’ll see.
