We may think we have faith in God, but our faith is dead if we can’t prove it. As Christians, we study the Bible to grow in the knowledge and wisdom of God and develop our faith in Him. And God allows situations throughout our lives that test our faith and strengthen our relationship with Jesus. If we never had to put our faith to work as we grow in the Lord, we’d never learn to trust God and never develop the faith we need to believe for His soon return!
