Wishing on a star is a mystical fantasy, but trusting in the Lord is a hope of faith! As Christians, we study the Bible to know the Lord; the more we learn, the more our desires become like His. We no longer focus on this world’s riches but on the things of God. Christ’s purpose in coming to earth was to save us from our sins, and our purpose in Christ is to help others find His salvation. And when we delight ourselves in the Lord, He grants us the desires of our hearts.
