It’s acceptable today for Christians to dress, act, and speak as they did before they converted. But—this deception will keep them from Heaven! Why? Because if we really ARE saved, Jesus becomes our Savior AND Lord, and our hearts are changed. We no longer belong to this world: we belong to God. His Spirit lives IN us and teaches us His Truth through the Scriptures. We have no desire to be like the world in how we dress, speak, or in its habits (Ephesians 5:11). We WANT to follow and obey Jesus and be a testimony of His love and mercy in how we dress and in everything we say and do.
