Becoming a Christian frees us from sin and redeems us to our Heavenly Father. It doesn’t give us the authority to do God’s work our way. We are saved through God’s grace and filled with His Spirit, and when we submit to Him, God feeds us through the Scriptures and directs our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6) so we can be who He’s called us to be. Then, because we abide in Him and He in us, we take on HIS burden to share the gospel with the lost—and are fruitful.
