Love is not lust or emotion. The Bible says that God is love, and He demonstrated His love for us when He came to earth as a man to take on our sins at the cross. Despite what we’d become, Jesus suffered the punishment WE deserved for our sins! And all so we could be free of sin and return to Him. This is love! And it’s the mindset that we, as Christians, should have with each other and those who don’t know Jesus. When God lives in us, others can see HIS love through us and know His love is true.
