Many depend on others to teach them about God. Their faith is based on what others say, but it’s not real because they don’t know God. True faith believes that God IS who He says He is and that He can and WILL do the things He’s promised. But we can only know His promises and get this faith by hearing the Word of God because it’s God’s voice speaking to us. As we study the Bible and spend time in prayer, we develop a relationship with Jesus, and we can put our faith in Him because we know the One in whom we believe.
