We all have things dear to our hearts that we defend and even boast about. These “treasures” give us the incentive to live each day with purpose, but they’ll eventually wear out if they are earthly. When we make Jesus our treasure, our focus changes from “me” to “God” as He teaches us all Truth through His Spirit in us. We see all He’s done, is doing, and will do, and are filled with love and hope because this Treasure will never die. And there’s nothing more precious and worth sharing with others than Jesus!
