Why bother to pray if God knows what we’re praying about before we pray? God, our Father, wants to have fellowship with us, His children, and it’s because we have needs that many even bother to talk to Him at all. If God gave us everything at whim, we’d soon get puffed up and forget that He is God Almighty and the only reason we can come to Him is that Jesus died on the cross to take our sins away. God loves us, and prayer brings us closer to Him. He fights our battles and gives us victory despite the impossible, so when God answers our prayers, we are humbled, and He is glorified!
