Life on earth is short compared to eternity. Many don’t realize that this world is the beginning and that we’ll continue to be ourselves throughout eternity. In Heaven, our minds and bodies will be perfected, and we’ll live in a new world with a refreshed nature and always be in God’s presence. In hell, our bodies will not be perfected, and we’ll live in absolute torment with the god of this world and without the presence or peace of God. But praise God, we still live in a time of grace when people can find Jesus as their Savior, be forgiven for their sins, and look forward to eternity with our Lord.
