Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In faith, we step into an elevator and trust that it won’t fall, and we drive our cars and assume we’ll arrive safely. Yet, when it comes to God, many of us have no faith in Him because we don’t know Him. We become Christians because God gives us the faith to believe and accept Jesus as our Savior, but we need to study the Bible to KNOW Him, develop a relationship with Jesus, and build our faith in Him. The closer we draw to God, the more faith we’ll have to trust that He will do what He promised.
