This world programs people to focus on themselves and what they can get out of life. So, they strive for newer, bigger, and more elaborate things to satisfy that goal, but material things wear out or get stolen, and desires change, so they are never satisfied. But as Christians, we know God supplies our daily needs and blesses us with good things—and we ARE satisfied. He’s prepared a place for us in Heaven with all new blessings, and we have the peace and joy of life while we’re here. We can focus on sharing God’s love with others so they, too, can know Jesus and be free.
