Sometimes, when we’re alone and face uncomfortable situations, we say, “I can’t do this.” And true, on our own merits and power, we probably can’t. But as Christians, we CAN because we are not alone—Jesus is with us. He promised He’d never leave us, and when we give these situations to God in prayer, believing that we are His children whom He loves and that nothing is impossible to Him, we will feel His presence. Our confidence will rise because we’ll know that Jesus is our shield, the One who IS our confidence and who fills us with His strength and peace.
