It’s hard to submit to someone else’s authority, especially when we’ve worked hard to achieve our goals and keep what we believe is ours. But, when we accept Jesus as our Savior, He becomes the Lord over our lives, and we no longer have to fight for what’s ours because He takes care of us, supplies all of our needs, and fights our battles for us. God loves us, and He’s merciful and gracious to those who love Him. We can rest in His peace because, unlike the world, God is righteous in all His ways.
