We live in a sinful world that fills our minds with questions, doubt, and fear. If we focus on the things of the world—ruled by the devil who wants to destroy us—we are open to his thoughts and suggestions and closed to God. But when we begin our day in prayer and then throughout the day meditate on the things of God, talk to Him in our hearts and minds, praise Him for the good things we see in our day, and constantly seek His guidance, there’s no room for the devil to come in. We can have a good day, full of peace and joy because our hearts and minds are always focused on the Lord!
