No one knows the freedom and the joy of being a Christian until they repent and receive Jesus as their Savior. We’re not only forgiven for all of our sins and promised an eternal home in Heaven, but we have God’s full attention and protection while we’re here on earth. He has promised that He’d never leave us, and so while we remain in this dark world that’s speedily heading towards God’s judgment, we have the peace of God, knowing that Jesus has overcome the darkness and is leading us through it.
