We can’t build a relationship with someone we’ve only heard about, and we can’t put our hope and faith in Jesus when we’re only going by what others say about Him. We need to study the Bible to know Jesus because the words, though written by men, are inspired by God, and they are His knowledge, wisdom, and prophecies. We need to have a personal relationship with Jesus, and that comes when we read our Bibles and let His indwelling Spirit teach us His truth. Then our faith and hope will be in Jesus because we know that He is true.
