The dictionary defines Christians as “followers of Jesus Christ. ” So to follow Jesus, we must know Him personally as our Lord and Savior AND follow Him—not our own version of Christiandom. We have to READ our Bible because every word in it is inspired by God and is FOOD for our soul. The more we read, the stronger our relationship with Jesus gets and the easier it is to follow Him. Then we’ll be blessed and filled with His peace and joy, and others will see that we are not wannabees—we ARE Christians!
