Sheep are dependent on their shepherd to watch over them, protect them from enemies, and provide all of their needs. They know his voice and don’t look to anyone else except that shepherd. Jesus is OUR Shepherd; we are HIS flock!. He leads us, watches over us, protects us from the enemy, and provides for all of our needs. He’s given us the Scriptures to study so we can know Him and know who we are in Him. His Spirit lives in us so we can talk to Him anytime and about anything and know that He hears and answers us. Jesus told us to cast our cares upon Him and ask for anything according to His will, and He’d do it. When we make Jesus our Lord and Savior, we are blessed and content and want for nothing. Jesus is the Faithful Shepherd.
