There are times when harsh words are needed to correct or encourage someone, but most times, a kind word of encouragement along with a Scripture and a smile are more effective. We want to help others know God’s truth so they can follow Jesus and be filled with His hope, but we have to do it out of love and not judgment. It’s easy to do when we remember that it’s only because of His mercy and kindness towards us that you and I make it through each day.
