We are blessed when we realize that we are children of God, saved by the shed blood of Jesus, and heading for eternity in Heaven with Him! We came into this world with nothing, and we’ll leave with nothing. It’s not what we gain in material wealth while we’re here that matters; it’s what we do for God’s glory. Our goal isn’t to live in excess and prosperity but to be content with what God gives us so that we can share the gospel with the lost and bring as many souls to Heaven with us as possible. This is contentment, knowing that we are doing God’s will now and that our rewards are waiting for us in Heaven.
