God defines His love as one that suffers for others, is kind, patient, doesn’t brag or boast, thinks no evil or envy towards others, rejoices in hope, and abounds in mercy. These are the characteristics of God’s Holy Spirit in us, and as we spend time in prayer and worship and study the Scriptures to know God, we become more like Him. When others see God’s love flow through us despite the circumstances, they are drawn to Him, and we are able to share the salvation of Jesus with them. We are God’s temple in this world, and His love never fails.
