When we become Christians, we study the Bible to know God, and our old habits, lifestyles, and desires change as we fill up on God’s Word and follow Jesus. We stop doing the sinful things we used to do because we no longer belong to this world—we belong to God. When Jesus is our Lord, we want to please God and do His will. The greatest desire of our hearts will be to follow Jesus, win souls for His Kingdom, and bring glory to His name.
