The world is filled with so-called Christians, yet few of them know God. When they have problems, they call out to God and then take offense when He ignores them. The fact is, if we haven’t accepted Jesus as our Savior, then we still belong to Satan, the god of this world, and the Holy God of Heaven won’t come near us because of our sin. If we’re going to call ourselves Christians—followers of Christ—then we need to follow Christ, and we begin by humbling ourselves before Jesus and accepting Him as the Savior who gave His life to save ours. Then we are made righteous before God, and we know that God hears and answers the prayers of the righteous!
