We can’t depend on anything this world says because it changes its standards continually as it heads towards God’s judgment. What we can depend on and rest in is the Word of God! If God said it, He meant it, and He will do it. When Jesus is our Savior, we no longer belong to this world because He’s redeemed us back to God our Father, and God becomes our strength, our shield, and our protector when we put our trust in Him.
