God knows the struggles Christians have in this sinful world, and so He’s given us the Scriptures to read so we can know Him and His laws and have the desire and the ability through His Spirit in us to obey Him. If we love Jesus, then we’ll study our Bibles so we can follow His ways and not be deceived or tempted by sin.
