Words are powerful tools; they can build up or tear down, they can encourage or condemn. They are easily spoken but can’t be taken back. As God’s children, our words must always represent who we are; otherwise, we are no different from the people of the world. We need to let our words come from our heart, and our heart needs to be filled with God—and that happens when we study the Bible to know Him. Then, our words will be pleasing to God because they represent what’s in His heart!
