There used to be a saying in the Christian realm—what would Jesus do? We knew that our thoughts controlled our actions, so when we faced a challenge in our lives, we’d ask ourselves this question. Our minds would focus on Jesus and we’d remember something from the Bible to encourage us. We need to do this today! We are surrounded by destructive words and attitudes and some of us are being easily drawn into negative thinking, leading to wrong actions. We need to focus on Jesus more than on the media because our testimony of Christ is crucial in today’s world. Let’s follow what Joshua 1:8 told us to do and meditate on God’s words so that our actions will glorify Him, not the world.
