As we continue to celebrate Christmas throughout the weekend, let’s not forget why we celebrate. God loved His children so much that when they were separated from Him because of sin, God Himself determined to leave His throne in Heaven to become a man and live amongst us. Jesus came willingly so that He could die and pay the punishment for that sin FOR us. There is no greater love than this, and it’s almost mind-boggling to grasp that a powerful Holy God could do such a thing, but you see, He is also our Father and His love for us is unmeasured. Hopefully, we will all get a glimpse of this truth during this Christmas season.
