Truly, we have joy in our hearts during this season regardless of what’s going on around us because we know that God loves us. He sent His own Son to come to earth, be born as a man, and then die on the cross to take our sins away so that we could be redeemed back to our Heavenly Father. The shepherds rejoiced because the Savior they had waited for had come. And we rejoice because we also know that Jesus has come and like the shepherds, we have received Him, and His Spirit lives in our hearts.
