This year has presented many challenges, and it’s been difficult for some of us to ring out the joy of Christmas because of them. Yet, we have every reason to rejoice! Jesus Christ is our Savior and He came and died for our sins and rose again so that we could have eternal life with Him! There is nothing on this earth that can compare to the gift that God has given to us through His own Son. Many of us can’t celebrate the traditional way we are used to but we can still recognize this time and keep Christmas special. Our joy is really in our heart, and there is no reason why we can’t rejoice and declare His glory, even if we can’t do it with those we love this year. Let’s rejoice in our gift and keep our eyes on Him because one day soon, Jesus will come for us and we’ll be together to celebrate our Lord forever and nothing will separate us again. So don’t be discouraged … rejoice anyway!
