Many people call themselves Christians, but they don’t know God. When trouble hits, they first do all they can do and ask the world for help, and when all that fails, then they cry out to God. Christians who know God go to Him first and cry out to Him because they know He is God their Father, their Maker, their Healer, their Protector, and their Provider. They know that He loves them and that He will answer their prayers and bless them. They put their faith in God first, not in the world. If you’re one of those who don’t really know God, then it’s time to dig into the Scriptures and get to know Jesus who gave His life to save yours! You need to know that you are a child of our Heavenly Father and that He loves you and will hear and answer you when you come to Him in prayer.
