The best thing we can do for ourselves and everyone we meet today is to rest in God’s peace. We can’t control the turmoil in the world around us, but we can take charge of our actions, reactions, thoughts and words. Let’s begin the day by praying and praising God for His love and protection, and let’s trust in Him to take care of us in spite of the world around us. Let’s rise up and stand for His truth and not be intimidated by the news or negative reports. God has promised that He will take care of us during these trying times while we’re waiting for Him to call us Home. When we rest in His promises, Jesus fills us with His peace, and fear and doubt fall away so that we can continue to share His love, grace, and peace with others.
