When we pray and weep before God for the salvation or healing of someone, God hears our prayers and answers them. But as well, He promises that there will be a victory because of our prayers. There have been times when we’ve all prayed for someone who wasn’t healed and we lost them anyway. But we don’t know the full picture, and perhaps, our prayers allowed them to be saved when we only thought they were saved, or maybe they were able to forgive someone for something before they passed. We won’t know the full effects of our prayers until we get to Heaven, but we have God’s promise that what we sow in tears now, we will reap in joy later. So let’s not give up when things don’t appear as we want them to be; let’s keep praying and trusting God because one day we’ll see the fruit of our labor. God is good.
