The Onus is on Us

Before Christ came, believers had to walk in total obedience and offer sacrifices for the forgiveness of their sins. Today, we have Jesus as our Lord and Savior who became all the sacrifices for us and died on the cross to cleanse us from all of our sins. Then He rose and became the door that we enter through to get into God’s presence, and the Bible is His words of instruction and wisdom for our lives. But the onus is on us to read the Bible and fill up on its truth because this is how we get to know God and learn of His love for us, and what His purpose is for our lives. The more we study, the more we separate ourselves from this world and the more God draws us to Himself. Then we can live in His grace and be who He has called us to be so that we can share His truth with others. God is good.
