When it comes to our own children, we’ll do everything possible to bless them and make them happy. In their time of need, we’ll do whatever it takes and give anything we have to help them, and likely not even count the cost. But would we be willing to die for a complete stranger? For someone who is violent and cruel and who perhaps attacked our beloved child? I don’t think that any of us has that much love in us….and yet….Jesus did! He saw us without our sin and so came and died a horrendous death to remove that sin so that we could be free. There is no love that compares to the love of God, and this is why we love Him and praise Him.
