Patience has become a virtue of the past, even for many Christians. We pray about a situation and expect God to respond immediately on the Instant Prayer Hotline. But we must remember that we serve the Lord with humility; He is not our personal genie. God loves us, watches over and cares for us, and we must learn to trust Him AND be patient. He sees the big picture, knows all the elements of our situation, AND has a plan for our lives. He’ll work out every detail with victory, even though the answer may be different from what we expected—but it will be the PERFECT one! So, we rejoice, continue to pray and give Him thanks, knowing that His ways differ from ours because He is Lord!
