The day after Jesus had stirred up the people in the Temple, He went to the Mt. of Olives for some rest. His disciples soon joined Him, and after learning of His coming death and resurrection, they wanted to know what the world would be like in the last days leading up to His return. Jesus explained that lawlessness, sin, and deception would increase, and wars, pestilences, and hate would abound, all leading to the years of tribulation when the false Christ would rule. But He also assured them that He’d come and take all believers to be with Him before the end comes. We are living in the very days Jesus warned us about, so we keep looking up because we know He’s coming for us soon.
