We can read the Bible on our own merits and understand the basic history of mankind. But we’ll never know the hidden things of God, understand prophecy, or access the wisdom or direction hidden in the pages, unless His Spirit teaches us! If someone reads the Bible and gets a carnal version, they’re not Christians; they’re deceivers who seek spiritual corruption. God will never reveal His Truth to them. But when we surrender to Jesus and accept Him as our Savior, He opens our understanding, and as we read His Word, it becomes life to our souls. The more we study the Scriptures to know Him and His ways, the more He fills us with His Truth.
