The Beatles sang about it in 1967, King Solomon gave us insight into it in Proverbs 17:17, and God fulfilled it in John 3:16: all we need is love! When we love others as Jesus loves us, we overlook the faults and see the heart. We are patient and kind, gracious and not rude or arrogant, merciful and forgiving, rejoicing in truth, hopeful, and helpful to one another (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). We don’t judge or condemn; we help and build up. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we’re all on the path to Heaven, even though we come from diverse situations and backgrounds and face different challenges. But we’ll make it when we stick together as a family, keep our eyes on Jesus, and follow Him!
